The ZUGSEIL Shop is a highly configurable application, which allows our customers to establish a highly standardized and single stop shopping experience, no matter of material type, fulfillment path or sourcing partners.

The configuration of the shop is based on freely definable shopping purposes. Depeding on its requirements each organization may have various shopping purposes, which allow in-flight configuration and simultaneous usage of the shop for different shopping purposes. Depending on the configuration of the shopping purpose, the shop can cater the business processes of:

A core feature of the ZUGSEIL Shop are the shopping purpose driven assistants with artificial intelligence (AI) to support its users to get their job done with minimal time.

Versatile

The ZUGSEIL Shop is a multipurpose shop application with advanced features. It is standardizing the shopping experience to all your users - no matter what products are offered by no matter what supplier. Therefore the application has a unified product model which supports a many fold of products

  • regular products
  • products with variants - products, which by default exist in multiple variants and the customer has define the one fitting best
  • modifiable products - products, which can be modified by the customer, e.g. attach a logo, change sleeve length
  • made-to-measure products - products, which are tailored to the body a customer (suits, protective equipment like glasses or ear-protectors)
  • design products - products, which are designed by the customer in the shop and are then produced individually to the so designed product, e.g. like a customer specific car configuration
  • service products - products, which are services and require a specific approach to fulfillment, like Digital Rights Management
  • product bundles - products, which consist of other products
  • Subscriptions management - products, which are repeated every month until cancelled

Time saver

Within regular shops searching for products can be very time consuming. Especially in organizations with large number of suppliers or with suppliers with a large number of products, the internal shop can easily inflate over hundreds of thousands or even millions of products. Finding the appropriate products in there is likely to be very inefficient. We have seen customers organizations in a situation where employees refused to order over the internal shop as they said calling the vendor or browsing the vendors shop were faster than using the internal marketplace. To overcome this situation we have created shopping assistants, which help the user to depending on the '''shopping purpose''' and taking other '''data on the user''' amongst other data sources into account to reduce the complexity of products and come up with proper proposals. The result is a dramatic increase in simplicity and a massive time saver for the user. As a side effect disturbing actions like '''maverick buying''' can be massively reduced. And all this finally drives the acceptance of the internal marketplace, finally materializing all the benefits of a digitized sourcing & procurement process chain.

Extensibility

ZUGSEIL Shop comes with extension packages which add sophisticated procurement functionality:

  • Digital Service Point (SHOP-DSP) - This extensions enriches the shop with functionality of a digital center for equipment. It comes with a personal equipment assistant ("PAM"), which immediately offers the right products to your staff and keeps track of the equipment history. Also it offers fully digitalized self-service process chains for most common processes of a regular point-of-service, like measuring-in, onboarding, offboarding, returns, exchange, lost&found and many more functions. Like our regular point-of-service, it also offers the power of AI through an automated size recognition services. The Digital Equipment Center SHOP extensions provides your company the potential to significantly reduce spending for operating a real point-of-service and at the same time saves a lot of working-time for your staff and delivers convenience as they can manage their personal equipment from anywhere at any time.
  • Assisted Ordering (SHOP-AO) - This extension of the regular shop allows to enforce company regulations for ordering products predefined to certain target audiences within the company. Available products can defined on user level - or be linked to team memberships, group memberships, organizational unit memberships, skills, job profile or rank.
  • Procurement Support Tools (SHOP-PST) - This extension brings transparency of procurement structures of large organizations to internal users. Find responsible buyers, contracts or suppliers for any kind of product easily and create a Procurement Requisition easily without first having the hassle of finding out the right procurement path or procurement officer.
  • Digital body measuring - acquiring the body measures and detecting the appropriate sizes is an art - and the job of tailor inside a shop. With our digital body measuring we deliver this functionality by a mobile assistant to every user. This feature can save a lot of time as traveling to Point-Of-Services is no longer neccessary for users within the normal size ranges.

These extensions integrate the SHOP functionality with our Lifecycle Management (LCM), integrating procurement and asset management into one solution with no interfaces required. Procured assets are bound to the business object they are destined for. Once they arrive and are comissioned, they can be tracked over their entire lifecycle no matter if they change primary user or are re-attached to other common business objects, like staff members, projects, offices, workplaces, ... and many more.
