The Point of Service service bundle covers all processes to operate a Point of Service for their staff members.

Staff onboarding process

When new employees have joined an organization they typically undergo onboarding. An important part of the onboarding process is the handing out of required equipment. Typical processes of onboarding are:

  • Pre-order-process fitting - Before a staff member is permitted to order equipment items, the Point of Service allows to evaluate the best fitting sizes and modifications for the staff member.
  • Initial take away - When the initial fitting is performed, the HR data is used to compute the entitlement the staff member is eligible for. The staff member may immediately receive a fraction or the full equipment from local stock. Items which are currently not available at the uniform shop are ordered and can be picked up or shipped home directly.
  • Post-order fitting - After equipment items have been ordered in the orboarding process or in the digital uniform store (for the first time), the staff member has to come to the Point of Service to Pick-Up the ordered equipment items. The staff member will try them on and verify the optimal fit. In case of a non-matching size, products can be exchanged in the uniform store on the fly or modifications can be ordered or immediately performed. Typically has to sign for the receipt.

  • Staff onboarding chain
    • Pre-order-process fitting - Before a staff member is permitted to order equipment items, the Point of Service allows to evaluate the best fitting sizes and modifications for the staff member.
    • Initial ordering - When the intial fitting has been made, the staff member may immediately order in the uniform store or remotely through the digital unform store. The digital uniform store is delivered as a combination of ZUGSEIL Shop with the Personal Equipment Managment.
  • Post-order fitting - After equipment items have been ordered the first time, the staff member has to come to the Point of Service to Pick-Up the ordered equipment items and typically has to sign for them. In case of a non-matching size, Products can be exchanged in the uniform store on the fly or modifications can be ordered or immediately performed.
  • Staff onboarding - this is a special process focussed on providing the initial equipment for a new staff member in a structured way. They are immediately handed out from local stock - and if no stock is available the item shall be either ordered for pickup at the site or for home delivery to the staff.
  • On-Site handing out of items on local stock, the staff member is eligible for.
  • First time equipment delivery
    • certain equipment items might require to be tried-on and eventually exchanged on-the-fly by other items on local stock
    • certain equipment items might require to be tried-on and eventually have to be taken back (returned) and another size, which is not on lock stock, needs to be ordered
  • Exchange if items as body measures of a person have changed, which require a different size
  • Servicing of items as an item requires to be modified for some reason. This creates service orders, which can be processed over the ZUGSEIL Service Fulfillment & Maintenance (SFM).
  • General clothing return as people do no longer require items or people offboard a company
  • Staff offboarding process chain

These are just a couple of reasons for processes and how they are covered by components of ZUGSEIL Point of Service. These components can be freely used in combination, so that no longer obstacles for implementing a fully digitalized staff equipment management should exist.
