A shipment order is an order to a warehouse inside the digital to ship something to a location.
A shipping order can be created for many reasons:
- for the direct fulfillment of an order (customer order, internal order)
- for the indirect fulfillment of any order type through a process step along a fulfillment supply chain
- for an inter-warehouse internal relocation
- for an internal relocation for material required for a production order
