A shipment path means a combination of a [[delivery services provider]] and a [[delivery service product]] to ship goods from location A to B. E.g. "Swiss POST" with product "A-Post".

A shipment path is the concrete combination of a delivery services provider and a delivery service product of this provider. Each digital can individually bind one or mulitple delivery options, which are the abstraction level of the shipment path used to sync with partners in the supply chain on the desired form of transportation of orders. Shipment paths are used in fulfillment plans to define the form and standard duration of shipments.
