Every B-Op Digital which is selling products to other B-Op Digitals naturally takes the Vendor Role. For this role, ZUGSEIL has developed his product package named ZUGSEIL Supplier-Suite.
History
ZUGSEIL has been founded in 1999 as the successor of Seiler IT Beratung GmbH.
While others focused the development on generic ERP systems to have the broadest possible target audience, we has a philosophy of drilling the thickest part of the wood, which clearly would allow us (once finished) to deliver the most flexibility to our customers: It is always simple to reduce complexity in a core piece of software, but increasing the complexity comes with a large price tag attached. So we focused on developing software solutions for mass-customized products and the production and fulfillment of these goods. Over the last 25 years this grew a stable mass-customization core in our software. This natively inbuilt highest possible product complexity, delivers one main benefit to our customers: We can rapidly adapt our ERP without much effort to most scenarios, bringing IT complexity in most organizations dramatically down.
In 2013 our technology was bought up by another technology company, which gave us the money and time to focus on developing the next level of flexibility: Reducing the effort of digital integration between business partners to as close to zero as possible. This again took us close to 10 years, but we finally succeeded.
With our ZUGSEIL supplier suite, we are proud to deliver the fist peer-to-peer software, which can be used in a wide range of scenarios ranging from as a mass-customization fulfillment tool integrating with an existing ERP or acting as first full mass-customization ERP available on the market.
USPs
The main USPs of our software package is to have B-Op as its technical foundation, making it the first Peer-To-Peer ERP on the market. Plus the capability to natively support a large range of product types natively throughout all of its supported process chains:
- regular products
- products with variants - products, which by default exist in multiple variants and the customer has define the one fitting best
- modifiable products - products, which can be modified by the customer, e.g. attach a logo, change sleeve length
- made-to-measure products - products, which are tailored to the body a customer (suits, protective equipment like glasses or ear-protectors)
- design products - products, which are designed by the customer in the shop and are then produced individually to the so designed product, e.g. like a customer specific car configuration
- service products - products, which are services and require a specific approach to fulfillment, like Digital Rights Management
- product bundles - products, which consist of other products
In total this results in two major benefits over other ERPs in this domain:
- Reduction of product customization effort, as the software typically only requires minimal changes to cater the process requirements of our customers.
- Reduction of digitalization spending regarding digitalization with other peers (customers, suppliers) to close to zero.
Target audience
Our software is ideally suited for organizations which active in the area of mass customization and/or made-2-measure:
- Mass-Customization providers/manufacturers, which offer products which customers can design themselves
- Providers/manufacturers for highly customizable products (mass customization), like
- Corporate Fashion (CF) providers/manufacturers
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) providers/manufacturers
- Made-To-Measure providers/manufacturers (Suites, Shirts, Furniture, ...)
- Service product providers (Laundry, Refurbishing, Maintenance, ... )
- Servicing companies for these products (laundries, refurbishing sites, ... )
Included Service Bundles
By default the Supplier-Suite includes all service-bundles which are required to perform the processes required on the suppliers side to cater customers in the procure-to-pay and return-to-refund processes. Therefore these service-bundles are included:
