A shipment order is an order to a warehouse inside the digital to ship something to a location.

A shipping order can be created for many reasons:

for the direct fulfillment of an order (customer order, internal order)
for the indirect fulfillment of any order type through a process step along a fulfillment supply chain
for an inter-warehouse internal relocation
for an internal relocation for material required for a production order

As soon as the shipment order means any transport to another location, a delivery is created
